I'm trying to create an Export File/Report that has the following variables:

item_code,item_quantity,item_description,item_option_choices_trim,item_postmark_date

This report will be run for a group of orders to export the item details of these orders.

When I run the report (as is, from above) -   the variables:
item_option_choices_trim,item_postmark_date
Are always desplayed within the text file as the variable name, but not with the variable data.

Any thoughts?

jabrien,

Is this for an html report or a text export?  What type is the report/export set to?  (Ex: Invoice, Summary, etc... for reports or Orders, Order Items, ... for text exports)

Thanks,
David

This is for a text report (comma delimited).

I currently have the report set as "order range".

I think I figured it out.  I should be using "order items" as the export type.

Thanks!

I was just going to write that back.  You could actually use either orders or order items.  Order range is for creating reports that show totals and averages of order amounts.  Only a certain few variables are available for this type.
