New install from backup error

Old computer crashed, so installed on new computer as had all backup files, and SM opens ok, but fails to get new orders... initially I receive the error in a few seconds : GetDocumentFailed (Error 1100)

Subsequent attempt renders an immediate response of: An unknow error has occoured during Yahoo Login.

I've removed all antivirus/firewall stuff
New computer running xp like old one
SM v 1.4.72

Any help would be great!  -Pat

Pat,

This error is likely caused by your new computer having some microsoft automatic updates that your old computer did not have.  In the summer of 2011 microsoft released some updates that made the approach that SuperManager uses to browse for and collect XML files from Yahoo to stop working.  Your best option is to update to the latest release of SuperManager.

Well, just bought upgrade, installed to 1.5.0.1 and am getting same error as before.  Any ideas? Doing manual import thing to get by.

An apdate on the situation.  We tried several things and then Pat found that the issue was with the "Truster" app (http://www.trusteer.com).  After removing that app it started working for him.
