The ability to put the gift wrap style on the sales receipt would be super cool.

Great idea.  We have added the ability to print and export custom variables individually by using the variable ship_custom1, ship_custom2, etc... and bill_custom1, bill_custom2, etc.  So in your case you would use ship_custom2 to export the gift wrap type because it is the second shipping address custom variable you guys have implemented in your shopping cart.

This will be available in beta 1.1.3.6.  I will also send you an updated packing slip to use for exporting this variable.
