Way to accounting-export pay methods?

Hello!

Is there a way to export a spreadsheet of batches that shows the payment method for each order (like you see when you expand the tree in the Batches view) - ie, Visa, Discover, Amex, etc?

Also, I think I'm going to switch from exporting orders to QB to exporting batches to QB from now on (which I've never tried before).  When I export a batch to QB, will it separate out the sales totals based on payment method, as long as I have QB items set up and mapped for each method?

There was not a variable to export this, but I have added one.  It will be available in the next release.  You can just use the variable "batch_entry_pay_method" and it will list the pay method of each batch entry.

In the current version it will separate the sales totals based on pay method, but until this next release it was not available in a spreadsheet export.

Looking at our version tracking system it looks like you have version 1.1.0.0?  Please contact us via email for a link to a newer version that has a check for updates feature.  You will want to upgrade to a newer version before using the batch export anyway.  There were some fixes and improvements to this function since that version.  The current release is 1.1.6.0.  The current beta is 1.1.8.8.  There is one thing you need to be aware of with the beta and the release we will soon be making - if you upgrade to it you may be required to uninstall and re-install QuickBooks.  Intuit's runtime installer has errors in it that make it unable to update to the newer runtimes without uninstalling and re-installing QuickBooks.  We are sorry about this, but we and other developers have given Intuit an earfull over this, but they have not fixed the problem.  Just be aware of that before you update to the versions later than 1.1.6.0.

I did actually already get the update from you guys, so I have the check for updates feature now. I also just installed the Beta.

It looks like I'm probably going to upgrade QB now from Pro to Premier, so when I do that, maybe it will be like a re-install - in which case the timing will be just right for that!
