I wanted to know how to use Super Manager in regards to inventory management. We want to utilize this tool to the fullest and I just don?t know the proper steps to take to get this setup for us.

Thanks for the link. Each time I receive new inventory, I would need to upload a new spreadsheet and update the inventory level in Super Manager? Would I be able to use this with Amazon fulfillment? I would want this to decrease the inventory when Amazon fulfills an order.

You can do one of a few things to add inventory when you receive it:

1. Import a text file with the updated levels.
2. Create a PO in SuperManager and mark it as ?Received?.  This will automatically add inventory.
3. Manually add inventory on the product details screen.  At the bottom, right you will see a list of variants and their inventory.  If you double click on a variant it brings up the ?Inventory Lot Details? in which you can add a ?lot? (shipment) of the product and your cost of goods sold.  SuperManager will then keep track of costing using FIFO.  It does this when you enter POs as well.

As far as Amazon FBA goes ? currently there is no way for SuperManager to know when Amazon fulfils an order.  It just allocates inventory to orders when they are received.  If there is not sufficient inventory to cover an order it marks the order items and the order as ?Backordered?.  You can select all backordered orders and choose ?Purchase Backordered Items?, which makes it generate POs to each of your suppliers with the required items and marks the items and orders as ?On Order? with a reference to the PO number.  When the PO is marked received, the order is put back to ?Open? status until it is sent out.

How does Super Manger work with Yahoo store? Will it set items in the Yahoo store to not in stock if the item is out of stock?

You could set up an export format to upload inventory to Yahoo.  This post was really focused around getting the inventory numbers correct in SuperManager.
