Update Shipment Status

Today for some reason when I go to update shipment status (I import the numbers from my FedEx Ship Manager) it gives an error saying they can't be updated. It take a few tries for them to go through. How are the tracking numbers sent to Yahoo (email, xml, etc.) and what may be causing this?

Nathan,

There are two ideas on what could be causing this problem.  First of all I need you to send me the error that you are getting when The SuperManager tries to send the tracking updates.  I am suspecting that there is either a server or connectivity problem that is stagnant so it allows The SuperManager to connect intermitently.

Another thing is that after you send the updates it does take up to 20 minutes for Yahoo!'s server to process and post the changes.  From your description, however, I got the impression that there was an actual error message The SuperManager was giving you.

Please send me the exact error message and I'm sure we can figure out what the problem is.

Of course the same problem isn't happening today. I did a reboot yesterday to see if that was the issue but it wasn't so I am  it was on Yahoo's end.

Will keep you updated with the exact error message if it happens again.
