Hi Guys,

A quick question.

If a user is set-up with limited access in QuickBooks, can they still import the orders from Yahoo via The SuperManager Lite?

For instance, they have a person who only deals with entering invoices and sales receipts in QuickBooks 2006, limited access is set up for security reasons.  They really prefer not to give the person full access; so can a limited access account be configured to work?

Thanks,
Rox

Rox,

That depends on how The SuperManager is set up with QuickBooks.  The first time you use The SuperManager to export information to QuickBooks, QuickBooks will issue a security prompt asking for permission to all The SuperManager to inferface with it.  In this prompt you can choose what type of access to grant and if you have users set up in your file, which user the SuperManager will log in as.  If you choose for The SuperManager to log in as administrator there will be no issue.  If you tell it to log in as another user The SuperManager will only be able to perform actions that user has permission to do.  Any attempt to do other actions will end in an error.

Good question!  I hope this answers it sufficiently.

Thanks,
David
