We maintain contact records for marketing and would like to see an option under the View menu for Customers, a little like a mini contact manager within Supermanager, at least allowing for export of customer contact info to a csv file.

All we really need is the customer's Contact Name, Company Name, and Email Address. :|

Ultimately, an email marketing interface with the ability to save templates and record campaigns would be cool, but we just want to mine the customer data (without payment info!!!) in text format.

If we export from Yahoo to csv, then we miss the manually entered customers, and must ad them each on by one. If we could export customer data from SM, we would be able to get all customers at once.

dcmerchant,

There is a way to export customer information using the customizable text file export capabilities.  You can create a custom export format to export orders and just have it contain customer information.  See section 6.4 of the user's manual for instructions on creating export formats.  This includes a link to the appendix, which has a list of all the field variables SuperManager has for such exports.  Please let us know if you have any questions about how to export a specific data field.

Thanks,
David
