General / Re: Way to accounting-export pay methods?
July 06, 2007, 09:42:56 AM
Thanks, David.

I did actually already get the update from you guys, so I have the check for updates feature now. I also just installed the Beta.

It looks like I'm probably going to upgrade QB now from Pro to Premier, so when I do that, maybe it will be like a re-install - in which case the timing will be just right for that!

General / Way to accounting-export pay methods?
July 05, 2007, 04:54:49 PM
Hello!

Is there a way to export a spreadsheet of batches that shows the payment method for each order (like you see when you expand the tree in the Batches view) - ie, Visa, Discover, Amex, etc?

Also, I think I'm going to switch from exporting orders to QB to exporting batches to QB from now on (which I've never tried before).  When I export a batch to QB, will it separate out the sales totals based on payment method, as long as I have QB items set up and mapped for each method?

TIA,

Chris

Other Software / Re: Orders to Dazzle as from Uganda
October 12, 2006, 03:19:05 PM
Originally it was set to Uganda - you were right.  Then I changed it, but the orders were still coming in as Uganda, like it didn't fully update.

I'll try again with the next set of orders, and maybe it will have fully reset.

Thanks! :)

Other Software / Re: Orders to Dazzle as from Uganda

To clarify, SM is putting "Uganda" on the country in the ship-to addresses for some reason.  (So if I delete that in each order, then I can export to Dazzle normally.)

I checked the Yahoo store, and they are marked as United States there, so it doesn't appear to be getting imported that way.

Other Software / Orders to Dazzle as from Uganda
October 10, 2006, 11:27:32 AM
I'm in the process of setting up a second SM file for a second store, and for some reason my U.S. orders are exporting to Dazzle as being from Uganda (so Dazzle wants to print international postage.)

Am I forgetting a setting somewhere?

Hey I think it's fixed!

I had another error in that I had forgotten to set Order Types under Custom Fields.  After fixing that, my invoices started printing too.

The store files are in different folders.

Hi,

I recently upgraded my second Yahoo store, and I'd like to use SuperManager to process orders from it now.

I got the new file set up, and I'm downloading orders just fine.  The problem is occurring when I try to print an invoice.

This invoice needs to be different from the default I use for the other store.  So, I edited a copy of that invoice and renamed it for use for the second store.

With the second store file open, I went to Store Settings-Reports and browsed for the new invoice, added it, and set it to default.  But SM gives an "Unknown Error has Occurred" error when it tries to print the invoices.  Then the entire program freezes up and I have to stop it from running.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Chris

Thanks, David!  It was a rumor I heard once.

Regarding the original post, I guess I should add what I'm doing that's working. ;)

I click on the "New Order" button (just to the left of "Get New Orders"), and fill in all the info there.  Is that what you were trying?

I have a different question about this. (Mine seems to be working fine.)

Does Yahoo charge extra for these manual transactions?

Thanks!

Thanks for the support, Rox!

I KNEW that rule - I mean, it's a good general rule to always reboot, and for some reason . . . I didn't.  How frustrating.

Finished Requests / Salter Brecknell scale
May 28, 2006, 01:42:51 PM
Hi,

This is my response to the request for scale types in the 1.1 release notes.

My mail-scale is a Salter Brecknell (7010SB to be exact).

Let me know if you need any other info about it.

Thanks!

OH MY GOD.  Ok . . . this is embarrassing . . .

I tried the highly-technical procedure of rebooting, that triggered the firewall to re-examine the new version and I was able to re-set it to the white list.  (Everything seems to be working now.)

(hiding under desk)

:(

So, tip #1 - reboot after installing new software! (doh!)
