Hello,
Is the Amazon payment transaction id showing up on the order page in yahoo?
(just to check that yahoo actually received the payment info from amazon)

Also, did you check your seller central amazon payments account to make sure that those payments were actually received and reconciled through amazon?

Good luck!

it appears that the yahoo api is working again as normal..

Hello,
Other people are having problems downloading orders through the yahoo api today.

Here's a work around to manually download orders and then import into the supermanager.

  • log into yahoo store manager
  • click "orders" and then click "export" at top right
  • enter the range of orders you want to download and change the dropdown to "XML"
  • a new window will open with the xml file, right click and select "save as" and save the xml file to your computer
  • in the supermanager, click "file"->"Import"->"Orders"->"orders xml" and then select the file that you just saved to your computer
  • the orders will import and be sure to ctrl+s to save the db after import

General / Re: UPS Surepost
September 09, 2016, 11:29:50 AM
here's how you add a new ship class for your ups worldship export...

1. click view->program settings
2. click the "export formats" tab
3. select your "UPS worldship" export that you will be using
4. on the right hand side of the dialog window, click the "add" button in the "ship class" area
5. Enter your new ship class that you want to send to worldship for "sure post"
6. Click OK and then click OK to close program settings dialog
7. click "file->save"

now you need to map your supermanager shipping method to the new surepost ship class
1. click "view->store settings"
2. click the "custom fields" tab
3. click the "ship methods" vertical tab on the left
4. find your ups surepost shipping method and double click it
5. find your ups worldship export method (xml exchange - worldship or ups worldship, etc) option in the list and select it
6. next, select your new surepost ship class in the dropdown menu below the list of export methods
7. click "OK" to close that window, then "OK" to close store settings then do another "file->save" for good measure

good luck!

Is it safe to upgrade to Windows 10 when using the Supermanager?
is IE even available on windows 10?

Hello,
Just make sure that you are setting the credit card role for the user that the supermanager is using to download orders.
In the supermanager, click "view->store settings" to see the yahoo username that should have the credit card role.

If you are still having problems then contact yahoo support to get the credit card role activated for the username that you have entered in the supermanager.

Thanks

Hello,
Yahoo recently made changes to their credit card security policy.
We are working to get the supermanager up to date with these latest changes.

You need to log into your yahoo store manager and browse to the "Access Manager".
You need to select the user that downloads orders and then add the role.. "Credit Card".
Be sure to click "Save Changes".
Then, the SuperManager will be able to download orders successfully.

We are working on updating the SuperManager to the recent Yahoo changes.

Thanks!

Hello,
We are currently working on this issue to determine what the problem is with the latest Windows IE8 update for users on Windows XP.

For windows 7 and windows Vista users, please update to IE9.  This will solve the issue.

Since IE9 is not available for Windows XP, we have 2 temporary workarounds for you until we have a perminent solution for this problem.

1.  You can manually download orders by following the instructions here:
http://www.thesupermanager.com/forum/index.php/topic,971.0.html

2.  You can uninstall the latest IE8 Security Update

Before you begin, close down all programs.

a. in Windows, click "Start->Control Panel" and then open your "Add or Remove Programs" item
b. Wait for the full list to be populated with your programs and then check the box next to "Show Updates"
c. Scroll to the bottom of the list and find the "Windows Internet Explorer 8" Program
d. Located the "Security Update for Windows Internet Explorer 8 (KB2559049) towards the bottom of the update list
e. Click the "KB2559049" item in the list and then click "Remove"
f. Follow the instructions to remove the Security Update including restarting your computer

Once Windows restarts you should be able to open and download orders in the Supermanager.

Please subscribe to this forum post so you will receive an email when a permanent solution is available.

We apologize for this inconvenience and we hope to have a fix soon.

FAQ / How can I enter orders from multiple computers?
October 26, 2010, 01:08:09 PM
The SuperManager does work well over a network but there are some limitations when working in a multi-user environment.  Unfortunately, only 1 computer can have read/write access at a time so this presents some problems when multiple sales people need to take orders from multiple locations at the same time.

Here's a quick solution that can help you enter orders on multiple computers to post back to the main database

  • In the main database, click "View", "Store Settings..." and then click the "Order Automation" tab.
  • Identify a folder on your computer that is shared over the network and click "Browse" next to the "Monitor Directory" text box and then select your folder/directory that is shared over the network.
  • On any of the other computers, you can simply open the main SuperManager file as read only or any SuperManager file with a similar set of products and create your manual order.
  • Next, on the other computer, you would right click on the new order in the manual order list and select "Export", "Orders XML Next Manual"* and save this particular file in the shared network directory on the main computer that you specified in Step 2 above.
  • The SuperManager will import the new "Next Manual" order on the main computer/ main database for processing.

*"Export->Orders XML Next Manual feature is available in version 1.4.3.3 so you will need to update your SuperManager installation to use this feature.

General / Re: yahoo inventory management
October 06, 2010, 06:33:18 AM
Hello DCmerchant,

You can use the inventory export file that you have from the Supermanager but you will need to do the following..

1. open it in excel
2. remove all columns except for item code and quantity
3. rename item code and quantity columns to    Code and Quantity   respectively
4. in excel, do file save and make sure you save it as a .csv file again
5.   Upload your inventory file into yahoo..
instructions on this page..  http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/smallbusiness/store/manage/ordersettings/ordersettings-49.html

QuoteTo upload your updated Inventory data file:
    a. Return to the Inventory page in Yahoo! store manager and click "Upload". This takes you to the Upload Inventory page.
    b. Click "Browse?" to locate the inventory data file on your computer, select the file, and click [Open\ to place the file address in the Choose File text window.
    c. Click "Upload". This takes you to the Upload Summary page, as shown in Figure 2.
    d. If you don't see an error message on the page, or if you know that the error messages are attributable to section page records in the file, click "Save". This returns you to the Inventory page, where you'll see the newly uploaded inventory levels.

Please let us know if this works ok for you..

Thanks!

General / Re: How can I copy the item codes?
August 20, 2010, 12:20:10 PM
Hello Faith,
You can select the products in the list, then right click and select "export->"

Then you can select one of the exports that you see in the export menu.
I believe we set up one for you for variants or suppliers but any of those should include the item code.

Then you can save the text file, open it in excel and grab just the item codes.
