I read a couple different posts (http://www.thesupermanager.com/forum/index.php/topic,1120.msg4919.html#msg4919) and still can not get this to work.

I need to be able to export orders to Quickbooks POS with a wide variety of sales tax rates but I end up having to delete the tax from every order with taxes before exporting to QB POS or else I receive an error.  Exmaple "The receipt is not balanced. Undefined amount is -1.19" where 1.19 is the sales tax amount.  I tried changing the tax name in SuperManager, QB POS settings and the individual items and I still get the same error.

With my Big Commerce store I now also have Amazon sales and a wide variety of tax rates.

For my needs (at this time), I do not need the tax imported to QB POS so I either need a way to not import the sales tax from Big Commerce to SM or I need a way to export into QB POS and not get the error.  Spending time every night removing the tax field from every order is not working for me.

After re-starting my computer I have no problems but the moment I close SM I start getting error

Note: I have used SuperManager for many years and had not made any changes to my templates just before this took place.  It may have started after a recent windows update though.

After closing SM, when I re-open it I get an error stating SM was unable to open IE.  I can download orders without a problem but the minute I try to print SM crashed.   After I re-start my computer everything is fine again.

Note: If I just leave SM up - after hours of non-use when I go to print it opens IE and creates the pick/pack slips but does not automatically print them.

IE protect mode settings was "unchecked".  I tried both checking and unchecking (restarting IE and SM after each - no change).  Again, it worked fine the day before and I have used the same computer with SM for many years.

Any suggestions short of uninstalling windows updates would be appreciated.  I am already uncomfortable

I have attached screen shots of the initial error and the error after attempting to print (just before it crashed/closes)

QuickBooks / Tax rounding - local tax
December 17, 2017, 06:53:48 PM
There seems to be a rounding difference between big commerce & Supermanager for calculated taxes.

Also Supermanager does not seem to acknowledge our local tax

The results is every time I do an export to Quickbooks I have to manually override the taxes so things balance how Supermanager cuculates it.  Sometimes I have to reduce the tax i the order by $0.1 and some times I have to increase it.  On local orders I have to over-ride every time.

Is there a way to simply accept how it was calculated by Big Commerce, we have an increase in state and local sales and it's become very time consuming to manually every other order with tax on it.

General / Import product fields from Big Commerce
February 12, 2017, 01:08:40 PM
I need to print some information on my picking slips but can not figure out how to get it into SuperManager

I have a Big Commerce store.

Is there the ability to import (from Big Commerce into SuperManager) the Bin # Field, Manufacturer Part Number and/or a custom field?  (and for them to be available fields for printing).

We are changing our warehouse to a bin # system so I need both the bin # and the item # printed on our packing slip.

I just changed to a new Widows 7 computer and QuickBooks POS 2013.  I made a fresh installation of SuperManger and updated it to the new beta release on 6/1/2013.   I keep getting this error with the XML Exchange - Error Connecting to QuickBooks POS: 0x80045608 Can't connect to the database.

I have a network and set up SuperManager exactly the same - except for the QuickBooks POS Company - I changed to the current name shown in QuickBooks at the top.  I downloaded the patch noted in 11.2.a of the User Manual.  When I go  into Quickboks POS 2013 > Preferences > Company > Integrated Applications  SM  SuperManager.exe shows up.

I really need to get this working soon.  Any help would be appreciated.

General / Unknown erorr when signing into Yahoo
August 07, 2012, 11:07:58 AM
I left a voicemail - Unknown Error when signing into Yahoo - we've had these before and usually closing and re-opening Supermanager or trying again in 10-15 works just fine.  It's been over 3 hours.

Everything was fine yesterday when we closed, I downloaded an order just before shutting down.  Today all we get is a unknown error message when clicking "download orders" or "Open Store Manager".  I checked for Windows and SuperManager updates - I updated to the newer SuperManager - that did not resolve the problem.  I verified Norton wasn't blocking anything - it's still set to allow SuperManager full access.

Any other idea or is it a Yahoo issue and we are stuck until it's fixed???

Supermanager locking up when emailing for new orders.  If it does not recognize it as a valid email address (one of our customers put a comma (,com) versus a dot (.com) and it locked up SuperManager.

We have the new beta version and Windows 7.  This is the second day in a row I had to figure out which emails were not sent, correct the email error where it had problems, and re-send the rest

(right now we are downloading about 80 orders in the morning - on the weekend it's now an issue but during the week we have an early crew and I am not there to resolve the problem until several hours later)

Collating reports - I have it set up to automatically print a packing slip and and picking slip for each sale.  It works but when I am printing multiple orders at the same time all the packing slips print then all the picking slips print and I have to go back and match the customers.  During the holidays we often print 20-40 at a time.

I tried clicking collate - I tried unclicking collate - it still prints the same way.

Any suggestions?

QuickBooks / export item by code plus option
April 18, 2011, 07:11:25 PM
On our Yahoo website we have items in multiple colors and inventory each color separately.  Right now we have each item with it's own url and product code in order to keep our inventory accurate.  It their a way to do code + option and match it to quick books so we can display all color options on 1 page and use the drop down menu for a person to choose their color choice.

This is also playing a role with our google base feed as they want 1 item number and specify the different colors available otherwise it gets rejected as duplicate item numbers (upc, brand, mpn are the same on all colors, only the color is different).

So it's 2 different reasons inventory control with quickbooks and google base feed identifiers.

I am new to SuperManager - I have a new Windows 7 computer, Norton Security.  Outlook 2010.   I can set up an automatic email response with "preview" before sending but I can not get it to automatically send the email.  When set up that way I get a security warning that a program is trying to access my email program, I have to wait the 5 second delay then I can choose to allow the access to outlook.

When I download orders this time of year it can be 10 orders at a time every 5-10 minutes.  (we are a Christmas store).  It's very time consuming.

Any solutions.

I have already added SuperManager to the Norton firewall allow list, I have changed Outlook Trust Center program access to "never warn me about suspicious activity" yet I still get the same error
