Program Setup / Re: SM Error Message with Amazon

Do you have the steps involved with obtaining an Amazon Developer Key / Secret?    Is it the normal MWS access flow?    I'm trying it, but thought I would ask (in case you knew).

Per Amazon's help page:

Q: I need my Seller ID, Marketplace ID, MWS Authorization Token, Developer Account Number, Access Key ID, and my Secret Key to use MWS. Where do I find these?
When you sign up to use MWS these account identifiers and credentials are displayed on the final page of the registration. You must make a note of them or go through the registration process a second time so they will be displayed again. It is also a good practice to print the final page of the registration and store it in a safe place.

Yeah-  These 2 fields were not in the SM>Store Settings for Amazon in previous versions....   :
Developer Key The value next to "AWS Access Key ID" obtained as described above
Developer Secret The value next to "Secret Key" obtained as described above

Is this information that SM had static information set behind the scenes (not visible to merchants) in the past?

I checked on Amazon and they indicate these are required fields.   They are also new fields in SM for Amazon Store set-up.

Per Amazon, the only way to attain these details is to reapply for the API.  (which, I don't want to embark on until I hear back from SM).

Thanks!

I'm Seeing information in SM Manual.   May not be an issue and just something we need to set up.   I'll post back shortly.

Program Setup / SM Error Message with Amazon
March 02, 2015, 05:34:49 AM
We installed a new version of SM over the weekend.  We are now receiving the following error message when trying to import Amazon orders.

" The MWS Developer key and/or Secret have not been set.......  "

I do not believe we had these fields within our previous version of SM.  Any thoughts?      We need to pull in Weekend orders, and would love to resolve this as early as possible.

Thanks!

Hmmm.  I think I resolved the issue.

So, I was not able to get into Yahoo.   And, I don't recall if you remember, but I had emailed back in early December that I was not able to download Amazon orders.   (I hadn't been able to for at least 1 month +).

Well, while trying to figure out today why I constantly kept getting Yahoo Time-Out / Cannot Connect issues.  I stumbled onto a solution.

In Internet Explorer >> Tools >> Internet Options >> Advanced
My TLS option was "unchecked".

I checked it and applied/saved.

After doing this, I was able to access Yahoo and pull in orders.   In addition, I was able to successfully pull in Amazon orders for the 1st time in over a month.

Not sure if somehow my TLS option was changed at some point.... or what?   But, I am now currently accessing Yahoo & Amazon orders.

Regards,

The link you referenced is what I was referring to in a previous post when I said "Went through some of the "tutorial" for this error message, but no luck."

I'll report back if it hasn't cleared up by this afternoon.

Our Order Processor is indicating that he cannot get Tracking Details to update to Yahoo Order Manager.  He is also getting Yahoo Time Out error messages.

(He is using a Different Operating System / IE version).

Still not getting in.     error message has changed to "unable to connect to yahoo".

Went through some of the "tutorial" for this error message, but no luck.

I'm using Windows Vista, which has a comparability up-to IE 9

I have been unable to sync SuperManager with Yahoo this morning.

I keep getting the "Yahoo! timed out. Please try your request again." error.

Just finished installing update 1.6.9.0,  but still repeatedly receive this error.

I'll try again in an hour or so, but thought I should post.

General / Export Tracking Numbers to Amazon
December 04, 2014, 11:42:10 AM
Hello,

What is the process for exporting Tracking Numbers from SuperManager to Amazon Seller Central?   Is there an automated method within Supermanager (when the API is enabled)?     Or, is it via a CSV export?

Thanks in advance!    I tried to research, but wasn't seeing specific "how-to" information.

When I accessed SM this evening (7pm Central), all our Yahoo Orders imported fine.

Must be random server issues on Yahoo's end.

Thanks!

A Quick update.

I've had about 10+ unsuccessful attempts to "get new orders" from our Yahoo Store this morning.

Using the "open store manager" and choosing our Yahoo Store works fine.    Unfortunately, all my attempts to pull in orders from Yahoo "get new orders"; results in a Yahoo Timeout error.

I'm anticipating it will clear itself up later today, but thought I should let you know.   I will be away from the office most of the day today, but will try again tonight.

Update Installed:

Initial attempt:
- Clicked Get New Orders.
- Yahoo Store Timed Out (error warning)
- Amazon Order retrieval -  stalled

I clicked "cancel" during the Amazon Order retrieval.

2nd Attempt:
- Clicked "open store manager" and select Yahoo Store.  (Logged me in).
- Click Get New Orders (new orders downloaded).

It was successful, but I still had hiccups along the way.  Just an FYI.    As long as I can get orders within a couple attempts, I can live with it.
