Found this post topic from 2013.....  Now in 2021, We had a crash on our processing system. Reinstalled SM to this Win 7 machine. All updates loaded for Windows.

Unable to get the output to go to the printer without first opening in in Windows IE browser.  Creates an HTML page.  Have setting set to print to default printer.   Have restarted system. 

How do I get the SM to print directly to my default HP laser printer?

Other Software / Error Downloading Orders....

Getting this message when trying to download....  "Error Downloading Orders: Too Many Requests: Rate Limit Exceeded. Check the retry-after header for details on when to try your request again.

Please advise.  Norman

SM stopped being able to download.  I get a huge throttling number (see attachment).  Worked fine until this week.  Please advise.

I getting an error in a bogus Sales Tax amount....

1. Enter an order for California Address.  Sales Tax Default State

2. Unclicked "taxable" box for each item to remove sales tax.

3. When saving the order I get a sales tax estimate of $1844674428928.00

Not sure if I just hit a bug.

QuickBooks Runtime is not properly installed.... download the installer at this time?

I  have installed the "installer" program. Still unable to upload to Quickbooks, continue to get this error.  Specs. Window 7 pro.

1. Cannot clear credit cards
2. When shipping...Creates a huge $amount in the shipping amount line.
3. System is really going crazy...Getting duplicate downloads....Will e-mail the screens.....

Is it possible to Archive by Order Date and Order Status?   The order numbers imported from Americart are not in numerical order.... Only the last 8 digits are imported.  Not the whole order number (12 digits)...

Printing Reports / Why are Reports printing to browser

Reports printing to browser?  I am finding that some of the Reports are printing to my browser and not to the print preview? 

The invoice report prints to the "print preview" and the prints, this is fine/ok. 

The some of the other reports print to the web browser, also I get a error popup.

All of the reports are in the same sub directory C:\programs file\supermanager\

Is there a setting to change to insure all the reports go to the printer?

Supermanger.   How do I stop SM from "asking" (popups) to send out order "shipping" conformations after a download of new orders.  I get a pop up fore each order asking if I want to send an e-mail to the buyer to confirm shipping.  Please tell me how to turn this feature off.   

I normally send confirmations out only after shipping labels are printed with Endicia.

Please advise.....

Other Software / Batch Change to Product Files

How do I do a batch change to the product file?  Currently their are no "Weights" in the product files.  Is there a way to update the whole product file with an arbitrary weight (Say 1 oz).

Cannot keep SuperManager open. Program continually crashes when trying to enter or modify products on an order. Tried accessing database on two different computers and had same issue.  Is there a problem with the SM program or Product database?  Please advise.....   Note: Program does not crash outside of the "Item Detail" screen....

1. Open SM
2. Open a Sales Order
3. Click Add Item

"Item Detail" window open
4. Select/Highlight a Product (Sometime Crashes)
5. Click "Add" (Sometimes Crashes)
6. Adding additional products (Crash)

When it crashes there are no error messages. Program just disappears. 

SM seems to always crash when the "Item Detail" windows is open.

Looks like the Product Database may be the issue. 
1. Adding new products to the database listing (Few Crashes occurred). 
2. Added new product to Customer Order  (Few Crashes occurred).
3. Saved Customer Order (Few Crashes)

After SM crash, updated Customer Order did not list the newly added product even though the Customer order was manually "saved" before the crash.  Also, the Product database did not show any of the new listed/added products.

Corrupted Product Database???

Narrowing down the problem.... Found that the SM program consistently crashes on the "Item Detail" screen when the cursor arrow is placed on the "Custom, Custom, Custom" line at the top of the list.  Just by moving the cursor over the "Custom, Custom, Custom" line causes SM to crash.  No mouse click is necessary to cause the Crash.   Also, mouse clicking on "ID" , "CODE" or "DESCRIPTION" on the header line above "Custom, Custom, Custom" line cause SM to crash.  Moving the cursor just below the "Custom" line to the first Product Listing "does not" cause a SM crash.
