General / Error when trying to Get Orders from Yahoo Store
September 11, 2020, 01:53:42 PM
I have SuperManager connected to my three Yahoo stores. All worked this morning. When I went to update shipping information via SuperManager on one of my stores this afternoon it timed out and did not complete. I tried charging on this one store and it timed out as well. I then tried to retrieve new orders multiple times and receive the error "Error reading error response: Unable to load list orders XML response. End tag 'BODY' does not match the start tag 'HR'." or the error "Error reading error response: Unable to load list orders XML response. XML document must have a top level element.". My other two stores continue to work fine. I contacted Yahoo and they did not see any API type errors on their end. They are requesting the XML request from SuperManager and the XML response received. Can you please  with this issue. Thanks!

Does SuperManager interface with Quickbooks Online Advanced? Support of Quickbooks Online is mentioned, but we wanted to check on this other version before we committed to using it.

Hi,
We are now collecting sales tax in many states. When we import to Quickbooks, it recalculates the sales tax amount. We do not want it to do that - the amount is calculated by an external service in the Yahoo Store. We just want QB to accept the amount calculated, since QB cannot know the specific tax rate, as many states have multiple rates.

Is there a way to force QB to accept the sales tax amount as shown in Supermanager?

Installation / Download software to re-install
September 09, 2019, 01:25:31 PM
I  need to download SuperManager to one of my PCs, due to a Windows 10 conversion (we had to do a clean install of Windows 10, wiping everything off the C: drive). I cannot get the software to download from the site, it tells me that it cannot find the license. I have copied the license number from my existing installations, so I know that it is the correct number. What I am missing?

Cannot download orders from Yahoo Merchant Solutions using API. I get an error message: "Yahoo Small Business returned error code 'An Internal Error has occured'".  I have opened a ticket with Yahoo (case 887183), but they seemed confused by the lack of an actual code (numeric code) in the error message.

I can successfully download orders using the Yahoo Merchant store login (to an excel spreadsheet, for example). I was on version 2.0.0.4 of Supermanager, I upgraded to 2.0.1.0, but the results were the same.

Would SuperManager report a Yahoo error code id one was returned? Is there any more information that can be trapped to give to Yahoo support?

We are trying to implement UPS Surepost through Worldship. We keep getting "Ship method 'Surepost' used in order 247016 has not been mapped for 'XML Exchange - Worldship". It then tells me to consult the manual, which I have done - see below.

I added the appropriate Ship Class ("USG", according to UPS Technical Support), see attached screen shot (Program settings Surepost). However, when I go to map it to the shipping method, the "USG" option does not appear, see attached screen shot (Modify and map shipping methods, shows only part of the list but trust me it is not there).

How to I get the new Ship Class to show up for mapping in the Worldship XML exchange?

General / Luminate/Yahoo/Aabaco error when charging
February 23, 2018, 11:55:15 AM
Although we successfully charged some of our orders earlier today, now every attempt results in a Luminate error: "Luminate returned error message 'This operation is not permitted' ". See attached screen shot.

General / UPS Surepost

Can SuperManager support UPS Surepost? This is another UPS/USPS joint shipping method, which UPS is offering to us as a less-expensive alternative to UPS Ground. The labels can be produced from UPS Worldship, but we would need SuperManager to offer Surepost as a "Ship Class" on the interface to Worldship.

I cannot capture my Paypal payments in one of my stores. The error message is "Error making order transaction: Luminate returned gateway error message 'You do not have permission to make this API call.' ". Note that these are the first attempts to capture since installing the latest version of Supermanager on Friday. However, we have another store with an identical setup, and it is capturing the Paypal transactions correctly. I did double-check the API key expiration, and it should be all set until June (the one-year anniversary of establishing the API in SuperManager).  Can you help?

I am receiving the following message when trying to update to the Yahoo Store record: "Unable to sign out different user. Please go to Yahoo! and sign out as the different user and try again." We are not signed in to Yahoo in any way when we received this message. We were successful in downloading orders this morning (via the API).

Yahoo is making the transition to Aabaco today, so this may be related to that, as they have extended their system maintenance until tonight. I have not changed anything in the store settings relating to Yahoo access. I have not changed the API settings, as I believe the date for that transition is still TBD. Is there anything I need to do in Supermanager to fix this, or do I just have to wait until Yahoo/Aabaco finishes and hope that they solve the problem?

We are having problems getting orders charged and updating the Yahoo Store with tracking numbers. There are a variety of errors, but the most prevalent is "WinInet Error 12002: The operation timed out". This started yesterday afternoon. It appears to be intermittent, as we were able to limp through by doing a few orders at a time, and simple repeating the process when the error occurred.

We are looking for SuperManager to use a default Declared Value of $0.00 for UPS shipments.  Unfortunately, even with the settings adjusted it is exporting the full Purchase Price of the order. See attachment for our current Store Settings. Please advise.

I have one order in one store that will not upload to Quickbooks. We are using the XML exchange, and all of the other orders are processed without any difficulty. We have processed orders for several days, and this one remains stuck. The error message that we get is "Error querying for customer 'Hamilton, Byron' - Error: 0x80004003 (null)". See attached PDF for the screen shot.

Since all the other orders are working, I know that it has to be something weird with either the order record in Supermanager or the customer record in QB, but I cannot find the issue. Any suggestions on how I might narrow it down?

I just switched to the Yahoo API, and I am having problems when charging out credit card orders. I use Paypal PaymentsPro to process the charges. When we charge out orders with the API set in the Supermanager file, the Paypal orders get charged, but every credit card order generates this error:

"Yahoo returned error message 'Credit card used for this order is not  with FDMS. Please, check your request, if it is sent to the appropriate gateway.' "

Note that when we switch back from the API to the normal Yahoo store setting in Supermanager, these orders process correctly. We switched to PaymentsPro last August, from 1st National (who uses FDMS as the actual processor), and have had no problems before switching to the API. Is there a setting or a step that I missed in setting up for the Yahoo API?

We had two Yahoo store orders corrupted when we attempted to charge them this afternoon. The corruption was significant, including all of the items, the total amount of the order, and the expiration date for the credit card. We were able to recover by updating the Yahoo Store record from the Supermanager file, then calling the customer to get the expiration date.

This has never happened to us before. It may be related to the updates: we had previously updated to version 1.7.0.9, so our orders were downloaded from Yahoo to Supermanager using that version this morning. This afternoon we updated to version 1.7.1.0, then charged our orders.

This is a potential serious problem, as one of the corrupted orders was changed to a balance of over $3,000, and only failed the charge because it asked about the authorization, and we caught the error at that point.

Is there any way to determine if we are "out of the woods" since we have now upgraded to version 1.7.1.0?

We are encountering a problem while cashing out orders. Supermanager displays a message that says "The SuperManager - eCommerce Order Processor has stopped working", and "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available".

We then re-start the program, and are able to continue cashing out. However, we have to get into the Yahoo store to see which orders are cashed out, so this costs us time. We have four Yahoo stores, and the problem has cropped up on three of them.

We are using version 1.7.0.0., and we do all processing through Yahoo Merchant Solutions.

We are unable to download orders from our Yahoo Store. Using version 1.6.8.3, we got "Invalid Store ID". After upgrading to 1.6.8.5, we got "Unable to sign into Yahoo! (1110). If this problem persists contact SuperWare Support."

Program Setup / Server mitigation
September 04, 2013, 12:57:53 PM
Hello,

We will likely be moving our server from 2003 SBS to Server 2012.  Currently, we do not have SM installed on the server itself.  We are using mapped drives, and SM does not seem to have any issue with this.  Are there any known issues that we may run into upon upgrading our server?

Please advise,
Jeremy

When we perform the QB XML Export, if there is a Massachusetts (taxed) order in the group, all orders exported after that are not exported.

If we export that item by itself, there is no issue.  The problem only occurs on those orders after the Mass items.

Simple solution is to simply export these orders separately, but was wondering if something else could be done to remedy this.

Thanks

QuickBooks / Sales tax settings for export to QB
July 15, 2013, 10:03:39 AM
We apparently have made a muddle of the sales taxes in QB, likely because we misinterpreted the store settings. My "Sales Tax Liabilty"  report is a bit of a jumble, with several new categories having popped up. So, before I screw it up (again), can you please verify:

"Tax item" is for any sales item that is NOT taxable in any taxing jurisdiction; i.e. I use a sales tax item of "Out of State" for items that are not in a taxable state, so this item would be ideal for this category.

"Tax Reference item" can be set to "order_tax_rate" if the accounting software is doing the tax calculations; in my case, the sales tax is just being passed through from Yahoo. So, is this the appropriate setting?

I have three Yahoo stores, and have attached a Microsoft Word document showing my current settings.
