Hey Joe,
At present we don't save that window size information.
I'll discuss this with David.
Thanks!

Hello Tara,
Thanks for the feedback!
I hope that we can take a look at this and see if there's anything that we can do to improve things.

Our software was designed and developed to be run on a computer with Windows based architecture.
While emulator software is out there it's just not quite the same.

Our software works closely with Internet Explorer to perform tasks.
Do you have internet explorer updated on the emulator?

This would be the first place that I would look.

Let me know what you find.

Also, I would continue to operate your businesses on a Windows based machine until you have tried and tested the windows emulator environment and have worked out all of the kinks.

Thanks and please keep us posted!

Hello,
That file is really just a temporary file anyways so it really doesn't matter.
You wouldn't really need to have many different files but maybe you could have 1 "working" file that you overwrite each time and then another file that has all of your products in it for reference?

Thanks!

Hello Faith,
We don't have any way of accessing that file since it is on your computer.
You could try searching and seeing if you have the Excel .xls file of the same name?

Thanks!

Hello Marilyn,
Once you performed the shipping operation the orders probably moved out of the "open" tab to the "closed" tab.  If you just click over to the "closed" tab or the "all" tab you should see the orders.  Or you can also click on the "today" tab to see all of today's orders.

You may want to export those orders to QB before you process the shipping.

Thanks!

QuickBooks / Re: Do I have sales tax setup correctly?
August 19, 2009, 11:10:22 AM
Hey Marc,
That's the correct way that it should be exporting.
We import the tax as a line item because Yahoo is calculating the tax.
In this scenario, QB is not calculating the tax.

We do this to ensure that you don't have discrepancies in your tax calculation.  If Yahoo and QB both calculated the tax then there would be differences in the calculations.

Therefore, QB does not calculate any tax in the sales receipt, Sales tax amount is simply passed along as a line item.

Thanks!

Hello Marc,
That would probably work for you but you can also try changing the "Alternative Code" in the Product Details section of the Supermanager to "map" the new yahoo item codes to the correct QB item code.  Click link below for details on how to change your Alternative Codes.

This would just require you to enter these once and would save you time changing all of the products in your orders.

How to setup alternative Product Codes for Exporting to QB

Hello Eric,
You can use any smtp server that you have access to.
Emails will be sent with the smtp server but your "reply-to" email address that customers see will be the email address that you have stored in the SuperManager.

We always recommend that you use the smtp server of your internet provider (cable internet? dsl internet? satellite internet? etc)  Whatever service you use to connect to the internet has an smtp mail server that you can use and these are always faster and more reliable than Yahoo or some other smtp mail server residing on another server somewhere.

Thanks!

Program Setup / Re: import template for products

To enter new average cost or update the product average cost in the SuperManager, follow the steps below.

1. Create an import format to import average cost by Product Code.
  a. Click "View->Store Settings" in the SuperManager
  b. Click the "Import Formats" tab and then click the "Add" button
  c. Enter a name for the new import format (e.g. "average cost Import") and then click "OK"
  d. Change the setting "This format imports:" to "Products"
  e. Set the Number of Header Lines accordingly depending on your file format
  f. Set the Text Qualifier accordingly depending on your file format
  g. Enter "product_code,product_average_cost" in the variable text box at the bottom of the dialog.
  h. Click "OK" to close the dialog

2. Create a text file with the Product Code and corresponding Product average cost
e.g
WID_GET1,10.00
WID_GET2,20.00

3. Import the data file into the SuperManager
  a.  Click "File->Import->average cost Import" and browse to the file created in Step 2 above.

I hope this helps..
Thanks!

Hello Goldie,
Thanks for the questions.
We do have a sorted report template.

Please email me your picklist template that you have updated and I will add the sorting capability to it for you and send it back to you.

Thanks!

Hello Goldie,
Unfortunately you can't remove the totals box.
I'm very sorry about that.

You can try playing with the cutoff time setting.  This will change how the totals are calculated..
Click "view->program settings" and then you will see the "cutoff time for today's.."

Thanks!

Hello Jeff,
I looked into this over the weekend and determined that it's not really possible to achieve what you want with Javascript in the report template.

We will look at fixing this in the SuperManager side so that you will be able to generate the report that you need.

Thanks!
Mike

Hey Jeff,
I think we can do something here with javascript in the report template to get you what you want.
Please give me a few days on this and i'll try to work something up for you.

Thanks!
Mike
