I am trying to use an import to update the tracking information on our Yahoo! orders.  The information from the import is populating the shipment information in the order records in SuperManager, but when I try to update Yahoo! I get an error stating "Unable to send tracking info to Yahoo!  Retry?" even though the status message is saying "Sending tracking info to Yahoo!...".  And then when I tell it not to retry, the status message says "Sent shipment updates for X orders to shopping cart and 0 shipped emails."  This isn't true.

I have checked the firewall settings. I have set them. Rebooted.  Reset them and rebooted. I have checked the e-mail tracking password. I have checked the Store log in and password.  I have checked the security code.  I tried watching it using the Ctrl-Shift-e to view IE while the processing is occurring.  What I found is that NOTHING was happening in IE when I tell it to update the tracking info.

But when I do the orders individually, it updates just fine.  But I'm not sure whether the shipped e-mail is getting sent.

I am so frustrated I could just spit.

Any ideas, direction, help?

Thanks

I need to store the customer from my orders as jobs under a customer "Z -Retail Sales".  I tried using "Z -RetailSales:bill_name" but received an error.  Is it possible to store a customer as a job?

Other Software / Can't Import Tracking Numbers
April 18, 2012, 03:27:16 PM
We use a third party to do our shipping and I just want to import the tracking numbers and ship date to my SuperManager records and then use that information to update our orders on our Yahoo Store.

I thought I had set up the template correctly:

order_id, shipment_tracking_id, shipment_id, shipment_postmark_date,skip_field,skip_field,skip_filed,skip_field,skip_field,skip_field,skip_field,skip_field,skip_field

accounting for each field in the import record, but I keep getting an error message "Invalid order number in shipment '1'." None of my orders are updating.

The order number is the same as the Order ID in SuperManager, and all of the shipments seem to have a shipment number of 1 when I drill into the order detail and look at the shipment detail (Shipment yhst11931-1) and I have created a column in my csv file for the shipment number.  What am I doing wrong?

QuickBooks / SM Posting Account not recognized by QB
October 13, 2011, 06:31:23 AM
I have set my Taxable and Non-Taxable posting accounts to accounts that are not those of the items as defined in QuickBooks.  I thought that the XML would override the QuickBooks, but this doesn't seem to be happening.  Specifically, my items in QuickBooks contain a Wholesale Income account, but I have told SuperManager to use Webstore Income when exporting to QuickBooks.  Yet when I do the transfer, everything is still going to Wholesale Income.  Why?

I am running Windows XP Pro SP3.  Now I am also having problem where is says "Adding Orders to Database" and freezes up.  I have to cancel the program and re-start it and then I am fine until it starts the same process of downloading Amazon orders.  It is showing a new error now.  "Error downloading orders - TextBoxFill Returned (error 1000)

General / Error while attempting to download Amazon orders
September 29, 2011, 07:13:12 AM
I am receiving an error when I try to download orders from Amazon.  First I get the message "GetDocument failed (error 1150)' and then I repeatedly get "Unknown error while logging into Amazon".

Any ideas?

We have created a vendor export in SM and some of our non-web orders are being entered into QB to simplify it for the order people.  We want to be able to combine the online orders and the QB orders to create the export file for the vendor, something we can't do in QB.

I've had to try and figure out a way to get orders created in QuickBooks into SuperManager.  I noticed that you can create import templates, so I created one based on a custom report that I created in QuickBooks that I export to Excel, clean-up, and save as a csv file.

I was also successfull in designing an import template using the variables defined in the appendix of the user manual.

But now I can't seem to find a way to run the import.  I noticed other people wanting to do the same type of thing but with specific shopping cart info.

Is it not possible to build a custom input template and use it in SM?

I'm creating an export to a 3rd party vendor and I need to combine the order number and sku into one field in the export to create a unique line identifier.  Is it possible to concatenate variables?  Also, I need the letter "R" to show up in every record.  How do I do that?
