Program Setup / Home Network?
April 23, 2010, 04:39:00 PM
Hi,

I have been using SuperManager for a while now but am hoping to use both our new laptop as well as the desktop computer to use the program. Do you have any pointers on how to set this up? I have "shared" the entire SuperManager folder yet when it opens, SuperManager is completely blank with no data  with it. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Also I understand how to map the different variants to QB but is there a way for the different prices to be automatically pulled even with the funky yahoo formatting?

QuickBooks / Re: Inventory Information into Quickbooks

Thanks for getting back to me. Actually we haven't really been using Quickbooks up until now and have been using SuperManager to process orders and update inventory. I thought that since we had inventory already entered into SuperManager, that we could somehow send it the other way. We can just enter it manually into QB I guess. May be a stupid question, but how will SuperManager know to take the items out of QB? I guess we keep QB open when processing all orders?

Thanks!

QuickBooks / Inventory Information into Quickbooks
February 20, 2010, 07:30:57 AM
I have two probably very easy questions but I can't get these things to work:

1. I can't get the inventory which is correct in Supermanager, to update into Quickbooks Pro 2009.

2. Because of the way item options are priced in yahoo (for example, a 3oz bottle of lotion is priced at $5 but the dropdown option of an 8oz bottle which is $2 more is formatted like this: "8oz (+$2)") I can't get Supermanager and therefore Quickbooks to accurately track the cost of the various options. Is there a way to do this?

Thanks!

I don't know how those settings changed but I think you're right -- thank you. It seems to be working now that I've changed the various shipping options correctly. However, previously we were able to use priority mail for packages 1+ lbs. But if we entered a fraction of a pound (e.g., 0.3lbs), it would automatically convert it into 1st class mail into Dazzle. Now that I've "remapped" the shipping options, even a fraction of a lb rounds up to 1lb in priority mail. How can I get the system to recognize 1st class mail again? Thanks!

Actually no there haven't been any changes to the computer or to Endicia/Dazzle that we have noticed. We're receiving the error message: "The Intelligent Mail Barcode with confirm does not fit on your mailpiece. Please move your address to a new location. There must be a least a 1/8 inch margin on each side of the barcode." Then the address is properly inserted into Dazzle; however, the address is rejected and there is no formatting for a Priority Mail Click-n-Ship label. It's just a "to" and "From" format with no proper formatting and we're therefore unable to print labels. I've attached a screenshot (with addresses modified). Can you please help? Thanks!

I hate to bring this up again but now ALL addresses seem to be rejected by Endicia. Any glitches I should know about? I'm having to manually copy and paste from SuperManager into Dazzle to get them to print. Not sure what to do. Thanks.

Feeling very stupid but can't figure this out. Am trying QuickBooks for the 1st time and am receiving this error message when trying to export SuperManager items into QB:
There is an invalid reference to QuickBooks Account "Taxable Sales" in the Items.  QuickBooks error message: Invalid argument.  The specified record does not exist in the list.

Can you please help me out? THanks!

Hi Mike,

Actually we are in fact able to cut and paste the address directly into Endicia and it works just fine without any modifications needed. So what would I ask my customer for in terms of a more accurate address? Thanks.

Unfortunately that doesn't work. Even after the address is verified on Super Manager, if it's destined to not work on Endicia, verifying the address on Super Manager doesn't seem to help.

Is there anything else I can do about this? It really slows things down.

Thanks!

So SuperManager seems to be working great and everything is configured to run smoothly from Super Manager to Endicia. However, sometimes an address comes up as "rejected" and then once it's sent to Dazzle, it prints out without a true lable (only a return and "to" address is there, no formatting, no barcode, etc.), and no shipping charges are made. Any way to either bypass this verification system or to prevent this from happening? Thanks!
