Other Software / Re: Error Downloading Orders....

Norm,

When you say you are on Americommerce do you mean SparkPay?  The SparkPay integration is supposed to be able to handle the rate limiting.  Do you see the "throttling...x seconds" message come up in the status bar or is this not working properly?

Thanks,
David

Import Formats / Re: Amazon order importing error
June 05, 2018, 03:39:43 AM
Sorry - somehow I missed this question when you asked it.  Or we may have solved the issue outside of the forum.  Let me postback in case others receive this error.  This is almost always caused by having the wrong time and/or timezone in your windows settings.  Please check the time and timezone in your windows settings.

Awesome!  Thanks for the feedback.

Norman,

What store platform are you on?

Thanks,
David

Are you using PayPal as your merchant account too?  Does it always happen or just intermittently?

Thanks,
David

Norman,

I figured out the problem.  SparkPay was messing up some of their response headers.  I put provisions into SuperManager to get around it.  Update to the latest release and it should work.

Thanks,
David

Norman,

Sorry you are running into problems.  We have other users for whom it is still working correctly.  I'm guessing there is something specific about your account and/or a particular order that SuperManager is not handling well.  Can you send your SuperManager smg file to us for us to test it out in debug and see what is going wrong?  If so, please zip the file before sending it.

Thanks,
David

Do you use PayPal for your merchant account?  What do you have defined as your "Make manual transactions through" setting for this store in your store settings?

Thanks,
David

Ed,

Thanks for the update. Especially the last error looked like a server issue.  Glad it is working again.

Thanks,
David

All,

I'm happy to report that we have been able to implement a fix for this issue.  Please update to the newest beta release, 1.9.8.1, and the workaround should no longer be required.  Please note that if you do not have the latest production release, 1.9.8.0, installed you will need to update to it, then to the new beta.  Please post back with your experience.

Thanks for your patience,
David

QuickBooks / Re: Tax rounding - local tax
December 18, 2017, 04:38:18 AM
Can you please send me a screenshot of an order in BigCommerce, SuperManager and QuickBooks?  I need to compare all three to see where the issue arises.  Normally SuperManager will not re-calculate taxes.  It just imports what it receives from the shopping carts and then sends that to QuickBooks.  How QuickBooks receives it depends on some of your export settings in SuperManager.  If I get those three screenshots it will give me a good chance to see what is happening.

Thanks,
David

Ed,

We've been getting feedback from people that this started occurring around black Friday weekend.  We've investigated it and it seems to be intermittent.  We did find that this workaround seems to make it work:

  • Go to "Help", "Restart Browser"
  • Close SuperManager
  • Open Internet Explorer and log into the store manager
  • Open SuperManager and use it normally

Give it a try and let us know if that works for you.

Thanks,
David

You'll need to make sure your company website is listed with the http:// prefix in your store settings and put the header you want to appear at the top of the email at /images/logo.jpg relative path from your root web directory.

Unfortunately this is a known issue with the Yahoo Store API.  SuperWare has discussed this shortcoming with them and they have it on their list of things to address, but have not fixed it as of yet.  There is, however, a workaround using custom fields:

  • Go to your Yahoo Store manager and click on the "Checkout & Registration Manager" link
  • On the checkout & registration manager, click the "Global Settings" link
  • Select the "Checkout Settings" tab
  • Under "Gift Options", choose "Disable"
  • Click "Save"
  • Go back to the "Checkout & Registration Manager" and click the "Page Configuration" link
  • Click on the "Secure Checkout" part of the "Order" Configuration
  • Go down to the "Page Sections" section and click the radio button next to "Other Information" and click the "Add" button
  • For "Field Display Name" enter "Gift-wrap"
  • For "Field Name Visibility" choose "Display Field Name in Checkout"
  • For "Display This Field" choose "At the Bottom of this Section"
  • For "Field Type" choose "Check Box"
  • Click "Next"
  • After Adding that field, repeat the process for adding the gift message the same, except enter "Gift-message" for the name and "Input Field" for the field type.

After setting up these custom fields, future orders should import into SuperManager with the Gift Message populated.

Joe,

We did finally incorporate this into some other changes we were making in this area.  Email windows should now remember the size you changed them to and consistently show up that way.
