General / How can I copy the item codes?
August 20, 2010, 11:56:20 AM
I need to know how to copy the item codes so that I can paste them onto a word document. I go to products, filter, supplier, then go and I see the list I need, I just have to know how to copy it or send it somewhere so that I can have the list of item codes. Thanks so much for any help. :)

Hi,
I still haven't rec'd a response from my last question and am  I need to start over again which is okay, but I don't have the export option I had before, which was Export>Variant Supplier, I only have Froogle Product Feed and Inventory.  I have not been able to export any of my items this way, please let me know what I have to do, I need to export products and update my drop ship suppliers, thanks so much. :)

Hi David,
Okay, I figured that out, BUT, forgot that when I had my computer redone my nice export/import list was lost! I have a variants excel file from February with my items, drop shippers, etc, but it doesn't include a lot of my new products or suppliers. When I tried to import all of my products and replace the file, I don't see any of my new items which should have blank spaces for the suppliers. Do I have to start all over again? If so, how? or is there a way to get all of my  new items (since February) onto this list? Thanks again. :)

Thanks Mike, that does make sense, but, when I went to (I believe in Actions) to create all variables, I didn't see the link there, then, when I went to export, I didn't see the variants I usually export to and saw a bunch of other things I haven't seen before like NewEgg something and Pick List, the settings aren't there that I need, now what? Thanks again. :)

Hi,
I just uploaded about 20 products and would like to know if there is a way to find recently uploaded products before exporting them to excel, adding drop ship info, and importing back. It's very tedious going through a list of a few thousand products to try and find the item numbers so please tell me if there is a better way to do this. Thanks so much for any help. :)

Hi,
Yesterday I had my computer redone (after a virus) anyway, I have the Supermanager database on my desktop, plus another Supermanager icon which is maybe a shortcut? not sure, I had logged into the database by accident and when I went to save the file it said to save it in my documents, I created the name SuperManager database and got the following error:

error saving backup file 32

What did I do wrong? Should I be touching this database at all? just the shortcut? I think the database automatically updates everytime I use the SuperManager (shortcut) but am not sure. I hope I'm making sense, it has been a stressfull two days with my computer, thanks for any help. :)

General / What does hidden mean?
January 12, 2010, 04:12:14 AM
I thought I had found out a great way to figure out what the new products that I uploaded were so I could only export those products into excel, and sometimes, it still works: I go to the "hidden" products and export, update, and import them. However, I have noticed that even after they are updated they remain "hidden". What does "hidden" mean? Once updated, is there a way not to make a group of items not hidden? Is there another, or a better way, to find the newly uploaded products so that I don't have to search so much or export all of my items to update a group? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks so much.  :-)

Fixed Bugs / Re: Unable to connect to server

It says smtpauth.earthlink.net, so that's good, except for I don't know why I sometimes get this problem. The "use default mail client" box is not checked, could this have something to do with it? Thanks again for any help. :)

Hi David,
I'm not sure how to check which mail server I'm using, I'm  it's Yahoo, but I may have set it up with my Earthlink pop account, where do I check this in the Super Manager settings? Thanks. :)

Although the Super Manager is downloading my orders, it sometimes doesn't send the drop ship e-mails and says Unable to connect to server. I then have to manually send the drop ship e-mails. What can I do so that this won't happen anymore? When I'm at my day job I need my Super Manager to send my drop ship orders out, especially at this time of year lol! Thanks for any help.  :-)

Thanks Mike,
I have an inventory file that is set up a little differently. I guess I could (correct me if I'm wrong) but could I just import all of my products to create a new file? I think my biggest concern is, when I just need to import some new products, do I override the old file? should I create a new one? ex - crosses, or bible bracelets, etc, and then import back in after adding the suppliers? Thanks Mike. :)

Hi David,
Thanks so much, I did it and it worked, but when I was prompted to replace it I chose yes, and now I don't think I have my entire excel file with all of my information, is there any way I can get this back, or do you guys have a back up copy? Please let me know thanks so much. :)
