General / Cannot Save SM File...

I am unable to save my SM file starting on startup this morning. I cannot download or process orders cannot be saved.

I have tried restarting the program...  What can I do to fix this?

This just started today...

We are no longer able to authorize/charge credit cards through the Yahoo Merchant accounts. We get an error pop-up that says "Unknown error authorizing orders."

It seems that the latest batch of "upgrades" at Yahoo has really destabilized the SM interface.

Obviously we need to be able to porcess charges so our cash flow is not compromised.

I am having problems using SM on my new Windsows 7 computer.

It appears that many of our program settings did not carry over to the new copmputer...

When we get a new order from Yahopo, the order is supposed to print out on the default printer. I have changed the settings to print to default printer.

It doesn't do that however, when we get a new order the system creates an html document in the browser. YOu then have to go to the browser to print the document and then SM freezes up nad has to be restarted.  Can you help me with this? I need to be up and running for business tomorrow AM.

We are installing new compujters this weekend at the warehouse and having trouble getting SM installed.

The application will install on my new computer, but it will not acceot my License name or key. The splash window with the license info just "blinks" when I clicnk on OK, but it does not accept the info...

How can I resolve this?

Program Setup / SM won't open.

I need some  in possibly reinstalling SM. I cannot get the program to open. I keep getting an "unknown error, Supermanger was forced to close" message after my computer shut down unexpectedly. I have restarted my computer but it does not fix the problem. I suspect the SM program may have been corrupted...?...

Help!...

Program Setup / Yahoo Payment API integration

According to Yahoo it appears that the payments captured through SM are not using the authorization codes generated when an order is placed. This is problematic on 2 levels?

1.   The customer thinks we have double charged them when the ?authorization hold? does not come off of their credit card Many customers simply don;t beleive that they have not been charged twice. We have been told ny a number of customers that they will not shop with us again because of this issue with "held" funds.
2.   We pay higher credit card rates for charges that are not processed as ?Authorized?

Yahoo wanted us to confirm that you are using the Payment API integration for our 4 stores. Looking at our Real Time Link API partners, it looks like this may not be the case.

Is SM using the Payment API integration?

Is this a ?fixable? problem?

We are swithing from AccuRate Shipping Manager to Advanced Shipping Manager in our 4 Yahoo Stores. Is there anything I need to change in the SM interface with this change?...or does that all flow through Yahoo and then into SM?

Printing Reports / Batch Report...

I think I must be losing my mind...  I thought I used to be able to print out a detailed batch report that showed all of the transacations included in the batch...

For the life of me I can no longer find how to generate that report!

Could you provide direction?

General / Shipping info not updating into Yahoo

I am finding that the shipping information is not updating into yahoo as it should. I thought it was a sporadic problem, but it seems to be with customers who have registered as a user through Yahoo.

We have had a couple of phone calls regarding shipment status on orders that had been shipped. Not only were the tracking numbers not sent over, but the order still shows as not being charged in Yahoo!

What is causing this?

Starting this morning...after updating SM to the newest version, we are having dulicated entries in our SMTOFEDX text document used for Fedex Ship Manager. This is causing a big problem in processing Fedex shipments.

I have cleared out the fiel and started ove, but everytime I export to the text file, all the orders are duplicated. I can work around this by deleting the duplicated lines, but that is very time consuming.

Would you please look into why this is happening all of a sudden?

Other Software / Problem with Dazzle

We just installed Endicia/Dazzle and attempted to integrate it into SM.

Every order that gets exported to dazzle gets rejected. Even when the address is "corrected" using the Zip-4 and we get an "exact match", Dazzle rejects it and prints out a dummy label.

I went over the installation istructions 5 times with a fine tooth comb making sure that all of the steps were followed in the User Manual and in the Dazzle Manual. I cannot tell what the problem is. I am at my frustration limit...

Can you help please?

General / SuperManager freezes while downloading orders

My SM program freezes each time I try to upload orders...or do anything for that matter. That is not the fix. We are dead in the water...cannot import orders to process and cannot ship.

Other Software / Compare shipping rates between carriers?

Is there a way to see comparison shipping rates "at a glance" from within SM?

We are starting to utilize USPS for more of our smaller packages and we would like to be able to determine if the shipping rates are better for Fedex or USPS for a particular order based on the Ship To address and the weight/dimensions pulled from Yahoo.

Our USPS rep said that he spoke to someone from SuperManager who told him this was available, but I cannot seem to find this feature. Is it really available?

General / Problem with smtofedex text file.

Starting mid-day today our export to our Fedex text file (smtofedex) has started adding a "-1" to the end of our order numbers in the text file. Fedex cannot pull over the info from the text file because the "Order number is not found".

What would cause this? I cannot see anything out of the ordinary in the text file headings...the text file is importing into Fedex. I can see the entry in the Integration Manager within the Fedex program...the Export parameters in SM point to "OrderNumber"?

What can I do to get this fixed?

I need to create a CSV file of all of my suppliers. Is there a way to do this?

We are having a problem with out text file disappearing from it's mapped location each time we export orders to FedEx.

For example, we have out smtofedex text document located in a certain folder on our computer. Fedex is mapped correctly to that document and SM finds the document when we go to export a batch of orders. This first batch works fine.

When we go to export the next batch or orders from SM to Fedex, the text file has disappeared from the folder and has to be recreated. I have gone to the lengths of keeping a copy of the text file on the desktop so I can copy it back into the mapped folder each time, but it shouldn;t just be deleting itself after each use.

Any ideas why this is happening?

We are unable to save the file ("Error saving file - an unknown error has occurred")...the Fedex import function stopped working, and the Quickbooks XML export function has reverted back to an old format of using Customer names rather than the dates for the export batches.

The system has become very buggy over that past week, and has just shut down by itself on several occasions. This is the first time I am not able to save our data entry work before shutting down.

Can you help?  :cry:

This morning when attempting to send a purchase order through SM we get an error that reads

"You have not entered an email address in one or more store profiles(s). Please enter the email address replies should be sent to in the store setting 'Stores' tab and try again"

We have e-mail address set in all of our stores. How do we get around this??

We have now enabled automatic printing of the Yahoo Order report when a new order is downloaded from Yahoo into SM. This works great with one caveat...

We have 3 stores that we get orders from. I tried to automate the download process so that SM checks for new orders every 5 minutes...and then the Yahoo order prints out.

Unfortunately the process stops between each store down load with a pop-up window that says "you have xx new order". You have to "accept" the window before it goes on to the next store.

Last evening SM got "stuck" on waiting for us to click on "Next/Enter" on one of the stores. Unfortunately, it kept checking for updates in the background through the night. The result was a continuous loops of logging into Yahoo to check for new orders that could not be cancelled without completely shutting down SM and breaking the connection to Yahoo.

How can I disable that pop-up window so this does not happen again?

We used to get our orders faxed from Yahoo when they came through our store, but with a recent problem, they have stopped providing that service.

We are now printing out orders as they come through to our e-mail and we have set up a "rule" in outlook to do this, but we are having problems with the e-mail interface with Yhaoo. Some orders do not come through to the e-mail...and some orders do not print when they DO come through. There is no real pattern to it...

That DOES seem to be consistent is thart SuperManager always downloads ALL of the orders when the system check for new orders.

Is there a way to create a "report" that looks like the old Yahoo Order...with the Credit card information intact?

Your help is greatly appreciated!
