I am going direct in Supermanager using Direct Connect API. We used to go through Yahoo, but changed because the yahoo option got deleted and to add it back was too cumbersome.

It doesn't seem like our Direct Connect Account has expired. If we go into the Direct Connect Gateway portal and process charges using the virtual portal, everything works fine. Is there another DC account that is needed to have the API work?

update: 11:13 AM 8/5 - I spoke with Direct Connect today and they indicate everything is ok on their end, they haven't made any API changes and our account is active.

We started receiving an error message a few weeks ago and can't process charges using Direct Connect API.  We are able to process charges using their virtual terminal and our account status is fine. I noticed that in store settings, the drop-down selection for Direct Connect API is misspelled "Direct Conntect Acct API"; not sure if that's part of the problem.

I'm not sure what's happening, but I'm not getting any response with ctrl+shft+e. And I get the same behavior from both machines.  Still only getting that pop-up image I included with original post. Maybe you can login remotely? Email or call when you have time.

I am in limited access mode and have manual login enabled & still nothing happens.  It is happening on both of our machines, although both have Windows 8.1.

Hi David,

Had another order with the same problem.  It appears to be any order that we attempt a Paypal credit.

We are getting an error message when processing a PayPal credit. This is the first time we've seen this.  We are using the latest version of SM.

No problem. From Order details:
1) Select any email and Windows Mail will come up (emails are set to preview before send)
2) Then I cancel/don't send email (hit esc); Windows Mail closes
3) Order notes shows normal record as if email was sent

Hi,

I noticed customer notes are recording emails as sent even though they are cancelled before sending. We are on version 1.6.3.0. Not a big deal, but thought you'd want to know.

Orders were entered either as "new order" or "copy" of previous order. 

For both types of orders, we do everthing you mention below, in the order you mentioned (confirm data for copies).  The only thing we may not do right away is execute sale. The latest order with this problem, authorization and sale were done separately. Order date and authorized on 5/22, customer didn't want shipped until 5/30; charged then.

General / Manual orders not charged correctly

Hi Guys,

In the past few months, we have had a couple of manual orders that did not charge correctly.  The authorization and charge look normal in the dialog box, but the charges did not make it to the batch. We only learned of the problem when reconciling deposits. This issue seems limited to manual orders; and not every one.  Has anyone else experienced the same problem?

QuickBooks / Quickbooks XML not working

Hi,

We updated SM software to 1.6.1.2 yesterday. Now we are getting the error message when we XML with quickbooks.  "Quickbooks runtime is not properly installed (hr-2147221005.  Would you like to download and install".  We have gone through every step outlined in previous posts and cannot get it to work.  Haven't changed anything about the PC or Quickbooks Pro 2012.  Any help would be appreciated.

update - I got it to work.  We first uninstalled QBXMLRP2 from our programs list, which has been there for some time. There is a new download QBFC12_0Installer that came up with the Supermanager error message. Once we installed that, everything works.  Not sure if that's the right procedure, but again, it works now for us.

Hi Guys,

We are having the same problem and none of the recommended solutions (except manual download) are working.  Tried everything. Other issue we have is the problem prevents us from processing credit cards for manual/phone orders.
