I would love that to be extended to Big Commerce.  My Amazon orders come via my Big Commerce store so there is not way for SM to know it's an Amazon order.
Thanks

I read a couple different posts (http://www.thesupermanager.com/forum/index.php/topic,1120.msg4919.html#msg4919) and still can not get this to work.

I need to be able to export orders to Quickbooks POS with a wide variety of sales tax rates but I end up having to delete the tax from every order with taxes before exporting to QB POS or else I receive an error.  Exmaple "The receipt is not balanced. Undefined amount is -1.19" where 1.19 is the sales tax amount.  I tried changing the tax name in SuperManager, QB POS settings and the individual items and I still get the same error.

With my Big Commerce store I now also have Amazon sales and a wide variety of tax rates.

For my needs (at this time), I do not need the tax imported to QB POS so I either need a way to not import the sales tax from Big Commerce to SM or I need a way to export into QB POS and not get the error.  Spending time every night removing the tax field from every order is not working for me.

After re-starting my computer I have no problems but the moment I close SM I start getting error

Note: I have used SuperManager for many years and had not made any changes to my templates just before this took place.  It may have started after a recent windows update though.

After closing SM, when I re-open it I get an error stating SM was unable to open IE.  I can download orders without a problem but the minute I try to print SM crashed.   After I re-start my computer everything is fine again.

Note: If I just leave SM up - after hours of non-use when I go to print it opens IE and creates the pick/pack slips but does not automatically print them.

IE protect mode settings was "unchecked".  I tried both checking and unchecking (restarting IE and SM after each - no change).  Again, it worked fine the day before and I have used the same computer with SM for many years.

Any suggestions short of uninstalling windows updates would be appreciated.  I am already uncomfortable

I have attached screen shots of the initial error and the error after attempting to print (just before it crashed/closes)

QuickBooks / Tax rounding - local tax
December 17, 2017, 06:53:48 PM
There seems to be a rounding difference between big commerce & Supermanager for calculated taxes.

Also Supermanager does not seem to acknowledge our local tax

The results is every time I do an export to Quickbooks I have to manually override the taxes so things balance how Supermanager cuculates it.  Sometimes I have to reduce the tax i the order by $0.1 and some times I have to increase it.  On local orders I have to over-ride every time.

Is there a way to simply accept how it was calculated by Big Commerce, we have an increase in state and local sales and it's become very time consuming to manually every other order with tax on it.

General / Re: Import product fields from Big Commerce

Where did you find the bin # in the product details in SuperManager & what is the field name I can use for printing?

For RGMTX45965 I did not have a custom field for that item.  The APart # is MTX45965

A new order (#73581) just came in with item #KAC2279 (customer orderd 1 of each option)

In the product details I entered

Bin #:  testbin#C2279

Manufacturer Part Number:  testmpnC2279

I created a custom field:
named the field: testcustomfield
data - i entered: testcustomerfieldinputC2279

General / Import product fields from Big Commerce
February 12, 2017, 01:08:40 PM
I need to print some information on my picking slips but can not figure out how to get it into SuperManager

I have a Big Commerce store.

Is there the ability to import (from Big Commerce into SuperManager) the Bin # Field, Manufacturer Part Number and/or a custom field?  (and for them to be available fields for printing).

We are changing our warehouse to a bin # system so I need both the bin # and the item # printed on our packing slip.

Should someone move to a new computer - this answer (with one other change) was the answer to my connection to database error

I moved my software to a different computer (including importing my quickbooks data from my backup file from the old computer).

I copied my SuperManager database from the other computer too.

I tried just changing my Export quickbooks server, I tried fresh download of Supermanager without using my backup data.

Nothing worked until I tried the answer to this - I removed SuperManager from the Integrated Applications in Quickbooks (and changed my store settings/ accounting export / pos server name to the name of my current computer).  All is working great now.

That worked.  It took less then 2 seconds to export the order.  THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.

Updated Error message - 1 version from 0 to -1 - see image
#10
For some reason I hit the control key and prtscn (old school I guess).

No version info was given

It would not let me do a screen shot because the error box was open (I could only do one once I hit ok to the error message)

Error box - QuickBooks POS returned unexpected version list.

The box under programs - XML - QuickBooks POS still says the same thing as the images previously sent.

Looks the same as before I did the export.

When I press the button it just fades in color then goes back to full color.  I do not see any changes.  I pressed it two more times.  See attached jpg of screen shoot - no change.

I just exported another order - 1 order with 2 items - it took 2 minutes 7 seconds - during that time it said "connecting to QuickBooks", once it connected it was only a split second.

Under products I just did the lookup for 2 options for the same item number - both times it took over 2 minutes.

(Note:  around the 2 minute mark it says (not responding) on the top right -  Supermanager - sm backup (not responding)  - sm backup is what I called the file when I saved as I was looking my setup/data when I closed.

So yes, every time I try to connect to QuickBooks it's taking over 2 minutes no matter what function I am trying to perform.  Once it connects to quickbooks it's extremely fast.

You are right about how long it takes too - not just exporting the data but using the lookup feature in  an alternate code for the variants options (actually it said "not responding" but I walked away for a while came back and it finally connected - I entered the remaining alternate codes manually)
