Other Software / Secondary User to do Shipping
December 26, 2012, 08:22:54 AM
We would like to enter weight (manually or via scale connected to pc) and print UPS label from the shipping table.

Is this possible without multi-user SM? It is already open in read/write mode at another desk.

We are very interested in multiuser version. We now have 2 users using SM and they mst switch between read-only and read/write many times each day.

Hello,

When a customer selects the box for same billing/shipping address, SM does not transfer the billing address to QB- just the person's name. Is there a special setting in SM to have the billing address transfer properly?

Thanks,

Courtney

They were both done from the order list in big batches with other orders. It's Christmas, so I'm always doing lots at once. I would just charge them all, and then enter weights for them all, and then xml exchange with worldship. When I do that, it asks if I want to upload this information to Yahoo, and I click yes. Normally this will upload the tracking numbers to Yahoo for the eStore orders and send out the default shipped email for the manual orders.

But obviously this is sometimes not the case. Weird!

I think I hit "sale" again before the first one had gone through, thus it didn't recognize that it had been charged before.

Yes, and in the order list.

General / double charge

I accidentally clicked "sale" on a manual order twice today and it put through 2 charges just fine, with no sort of warning or confirmation that we want to double charge.

It happened again... this time a manual order FS5678M updated its tracking number into the Yahoo order for a completely different customer. And a really old order.

Yes, we have a manual shipped email set.

If it was all working properly, there is no reason in the world that this should appear in the notes on a manual order:

It still authorizes when you hit sale, whether or not you click "yes." Updating didn't fix this at all.

Close...

Order FS28329 was an eStore order from a few months back.  Order FS28329M was another order from the same customer jsut recently.  When you exported order FS28329M to UPS it sent the tracking number back into FS28329M, but when it asked if you wanted to send out status updates it updated FS28329 status in Yahoo with the tracking number from order FS28329M rather than sending an email from within SuperManager for order FS28329M.

The tracking number was correct, for the new order, it just sent through the old order. If that makes sense.

The old was eStore, the new was manual.

Sorry, I was unclear. It was sent from Yahoo because the new tracking number/order status was updated to the old order.

ok great I am downloading the update now! How do I confirm that we "get credit" for having the CVV?

It doesn't say either sent email. I guess it was the default Yahoo email, so it must have uploaded the wrong order to Yahoo? It says that the new order was updated to Yahoo 12/2. He was sent the NEW tracking number.
