ajentp,

Yes - this is available in the beta version.  We hope to release this version within the next week or so.  If you want to start using it now you can do so by choosing "Help" | "Check for Updates" and when asked choose to install the beta version.  If you do not have the latest released version installed (which according to our version tracking system you do not) you will have to first install the latest released version, then check for updates again to install the beta version.

Thanks,
David

Hi David,

I finally have received the new version. New version stands as 1.3.6.4.
However, I am not able to download any beta version. After above veriosn, it is giving message that SuperManager is up to date.

I am wondering if above version is the beta version?. Anyhow I am not able to find any place to configure Amazon market place.

Please advise

ajentp,

Sorry to not get back right away.  I've had some internet connection problems over the last couple days and had a response ready for you, but it wouldn't send.  1.3.6.4 is the beta version.  Any version number that ends in anything but "0" is a beta version.

Which store type did you select?  You need to make sure it is "Amazon" and NOT "Amazon FBA"

Thanks,
David

Auto notification (checked)
Make manul transaction through (empty)

Whenever I clicked "Get New Orders", window pop up with order First to last and then showed message "Unable to find Sign-in button"

Hi David,

I found the solution then there is another problem.

Here is what happened. I was trying this new version of SM at my old computer which has very old version of IE. And I was getting this response as I mentioned in my previous threads. Then I realized it and tried new version of SM with relatively new IE version. And it did work and downloaded the orders.

The new problems are now:

It is downloading only the last 1 orders. Also, The products does not have any  any description. It is all blank. And so is the price which is showing 0.00.

Please advise, what is the next. Your prompt response is much appreciated.

ajentp,

Glad you got it to (kind of) work.  I guess we will need you to send us an example export so we can debug it and figure out why it isn't importing correctly.  Can you email us an example order export?

Thanks,
David

David,

It is not working. I tried to create another file with all correct information about amazon login. First it started the same message again " sign-in button not found" although I was using latest version of IE (which I thought was the solution earlier).

After many tries, I thought the file may get corrupted. I delete the file ,and create new one. Then it was giving me message "Test Box fill returned (error 1000).

Please help

ajentp,

Sorry if I wasn't clear enough - I need you to manually export an order from Amazon and send it to me.  Let's tackle the issue with SuperManager not correctly importing your orders first, then deal with it not automatically downloading them.

Thanks,
David

ajentp,

As sent via email I have released beta 1.3.6.5 that will correctly import your Amazon file.  I can't understand why it is that every Amazon store seems to export orders slightly differently.  From our past experience the column headers were the same, but the columns could appear in different order.  Your file had different column headers than others we have seen so far.  I made it so SuperManager would correctly identify your columns as well.

Try it out.  We may need to check out the automated download from here.

Thanks,
David

Hi David,

As I mentioned in my previous thread, the download button is not working. However I am able to download order via Amazon txt file. In the given situation, I think I can work this way until this season ends. However I need you immediate  in two matters:

1) What is the procedure to update tracking number back to Amazon ? Will it work same way as it does for Yahoo store?

2) The product code from amazon is different than what we have in our SM system. Is there any way we can tie up amazon code to related product in SM so that all future download of orders automatically select the correct item for any given order.

Thank you for your help.

Hi David,

upon further inspection, I also found out that order download via Amazon txt file does not import zip code. Also it does not correctly show the shipping for those orders which have same items in multiple quantity. if a user order more than one quantity for the same item, Amazon times the shipping charge to the quantity. However, SM shows only one shipping charge.

ajentp,

Amazon has an excel template you can use to upload tracking numbers.  SuperManager won?t export the excel file itself, but it will export a text file that you can use to populate the ?Shipping Confirmation? tab.  I'm  (although not certain) that you can upload a text file with the same columns as the excel template has.  We have prepared an smx file that creates an export template in SuperManager.  To use the export save the .smx file to your computer and go to ?View? | ?Program Settings? and click ?Import SMX?.  After you do this you will file ?Amazon Status Update? as one of the exports you can use in SuperManager.

As for the product codes - there are several product codes in Amazon.  Do any of these match your Yahoo product codes?

Lastly, as for the shipping zip code.  I see the problem with that and can release it soon.  Before doing so we could work on fixing the problem with automatic downloads.  I'll send you more information about that by email.

Thanks,
David

Hi David,

I send you back the Html file as you asked.

About product match, we have set up Yahoo store product based on item code of a product. As you may know that an item code is normally a five digit number out of last 6 digit in the bar code(UPC). The very last digit is for defining color or style of that product.

I was thinking if SM product's download can tie up to that five digits out of UPC, it may help. Because this way the number will remain unique regardless how many time it downloads. It will also work across the board.

Other option is seller SKU tie up.

Thanks

Mayb I'm not understanding, but I looked up one of your items on Google, "Lockheed C-130 Hercules U.S.C.G. Toy Plane" and got the Yahoo page, where it shows "Item Code: NR-20617".  Then I compared it to the listing in the amazon export you sent me:

listing-id: 0722EO17X97
sku: WS-1J9D-TUC7

Maybe I'm just missing it, but I don't see a matchable pattern between those two.  How are these supposed to be matched?  Is this just a bad example?

Thanks,
David

Hi david,

I checked amazon and found out if we add our product code at seller SKU field, at the time new listing is being created, then this SKU will become item code in SM. So in a way, things are working.

ajentp,

Hi David,

We have been using SM for Amazon. It is working good. However we still have some minor issues. I wonder if they can be addressed as well.

1) Amazon download does not populate billing address in SM. It is just left as empty. We know that Amazon orders do not carry any billing address, only the shipping address. However it would be good for us if shipping address itself is populated into Billing fields.

Why we want it this way? becuase we notice that without any billing address, if we export any order to Quick book, it will be listed under general name of "SuperManger Import".  That is fine as well, but problem arise when we try to search orders by actual customer's name in Quickbook, at that instance quickbook returns NO Order Found.

2) Shipping cost does not add up correctly if a customer purchase same item more than one quantity. It should add up as Shipping cost x Quantity. However in SM, it just add as shipping cost x 1.

Thanks for your time

ajentp,

I think the QuickBooks export issue is something different.  Take a look at your export settings under "View" | "Program Settings..." on the "XML Exchange Formats" tab.  Select "QuickBooks" from the list of exports and then make sure the "Customer name for order exports" is set accordingly.  Also make sure "Create customers for order exports" is checked.  You are right about the address fields not being filled in for the billing address, but the billing name is filled in, which should be enough to make sure the customers are exported and linked to the sales receipts/invoices.

Thanks for letting us know about the shipping costs.  We will correct that for the next release.  Does your shipping cost show up as "shipping-price" or "shipping-fee"?

Thanks,
David

ajentp,

Sorry - I wasn't clear.  I mean when you download an order report from amazon.  Go into the Amazon back end and manually download an order report and check whether the your shipping amount comes through with the column header shipping-fee or shipping-price.

Thanks,
David
