Title: Firewall error.
Post by: bobbininc on July 02, 2013, 05:56:09 AM
When performing download of orders this morning, received error "Unable to retrieve downloaded file (1001).  This problem is most often caused by firewall interference.  Please give The SuperManager access to the internet in your firewall software."

It is unclear why I am receiving this error, as I just performed download successfully on a different workstation.

Thanks...
Jeremy

Jeremy,

We should probably update that error message since now days this error is not usually caused by firewall problems.  It is usually the result of interference from other applications or new Microsoft policies enforced in internet explorer and Windows.  This faq will lead you through checking and fixing the common causes:

Please post back whether this helps.

Thanks,

David,

IE - Not In Compatibility Mode for Yahoo.
Alt. IE Intergration - no dice.
No listed SpamWare
Did not even have the option to Disable IE's Protected Mode.

The "Shift + Control + E" seemed to work...
