For some reason, the "Get Batches" button in the Admin view quit working a few days ago.
I did a search on the forum and got what I thought was the solution: Download the txt file from Yahoo's Manual Order page and import it into SM.
Trouble is, I seem to be doing something wrong. I get the screen on Yahoo with the batches, do a Ctrl-A and paste it into a notepad file (txt) and save. Then, when I hit File -- Import -- Batches -- Yahoo Batch File and choose the new txt file I just created....nothing happens. There is no 'execute' command and it simply closes without any update being made into the SMG file.
Any ideas?
Hello,
Do you receive a particular error message when you click the "Get Batches" button?
Thanks!
Mike
Just the "no new batches" message.
Hunter58.
When you did the manual import did you press the "download text report" link to download it as a text file? Once you do that you should be able to just choose "File" | "Save As..." in your web browser and save it as a text file. That will make sure the nothing is "lost in translation".
Also, what is the highest batch number in your file? If you get a corrupted batch number that appears greater than the highest batch number in your Yahoo store, SuperManager will think there are no new batches to download.
Thanks,
David

Yes, I tried saving the page using "Save As" and named it Batches.txt. I also tried to copy/paste the info into Notepad and saving that as batches.txt.

Highest batch number is 00139. Yahoo's page shows batches up to 00143.
Hunter58,
Can you send me a screenshot of your batch list in SuperManager and the batch list that comes up in Yahoo - not the text file, but the html report? Please send them to info@thesupermanager.com
Thanks,
David

Screenshots sent.
The problem is that you have another set of batches that goes up to 00213 listed in this same account. You will need to separate them out similar to how Mike may have helped you do before. Here is how I would go about it:
1. Under ?View? | ?Admin? press the ?Accounting Export? button and choose ?Batches XML?. Save the file as batches.xml on your desktop.
2. Delete these batches from your SuperManager database by right clicking on each one and choosing ?Delete?.
3. Open the batches.xml file in a text editor and do a find and replace from the current account name (Humboldt Merchant Services merchant account ?..?) to ?Old Account? or something like that.
4. Save and close the batches.xml file
5. Import the batches back into your SuperManager database using ?File? | ?Import? | ?Batches? |?Batches XML?.
Thanks,
David
Is there a way to do a multi-select or mass delete?
There are some 3000 batches that will have to be deleted manually, one by one.
You can also click the "Delete" key when you have the one you want to delete selected. To make sure we are talking about the same thing, however, you are deleting the batches, not the batch entries, right? The highest batch number was 00213 so I thought you should only have 213 batches to delete.
Thanks,
David
I guess we're misunderstanding one another - that often happens when you're just writing.
I have 3 accounts:
1) The original Paymentech account
2) The original Humboldt account (which Mike changed to "Humboldt Merchant Acct....old"
3) The new Humboldt account (which stopped working)
Only #2 has 213 batches. Are you saying I should delete all the batches in that account? If so, I would need to name it something other than Humboldt...old.
All very confusing to me, although I'm sure it isn't to you.
Hunter58,
The pictures you sent me showed 00139 on 07 Apr 10 -> 00001 on 01 Oct 09 AND THEN 00213 on 30 Sep 09 -> at least 00200 on 10 Sep 09 all under account #3, as listed below. That is the only part of your batch list I saw. If the ones starting with 0.00213 on 30 Sep 09 are also listed under account #2 you just need to delete them from account #3 and it will start working again.
If you have other batches attached to other accounts that will not cause a problem. The issue is just that these accounts with a higher number are attached to account #3 for some reason.
Thanks,
David
Well, I've got it completely hosed now.
Hunter58,
I just sent you an email about giving you a call to get this sorted out.
Thanks,
David
Thanks for the call, David.
All is well now.
