I was wondering if you could add a spot for the CCV were the other credit card info is entered it, even if it is not saved, it would be convenient to be able to enter it at the same time.  I also have a tendency to submit several credit cards back to back, so when it pops up and asks for the CCV I have a hard time remembering which transaction it is asking it for.

This feature will probably benefit many of our customers.

Old method:
1. Click Sale (Charge)
2. Wait for SuperManager to prompt for CVV
3. Enter CVV, continue sale and then go to next order

New Method:
1. Enter CVV in the order details CVV box
2. Click Sale (Charge)
3. Move to next order without having to wait for the order to be charged

Hey Mike,

Could we have the CCV saved but not displayed, ie show "***" in the CCV box if we have already gotten it from a customer, and be blank if we do not have it? Several of our customers have displayed annoyment with us having to get the CCV when we already have their card on file.

Just a thought.

Hey Joshua,
Good idea, but unfortunately storing the CCV in any way would be in violation of the credit card CCV rules.

You can explain to the customers that the CCV is meant to be stored in only 2 locations; their card and a list at their issuing bank.  This is the only piece of information that guarantees their protection from card-not-present credit card fraud if the CCV isn't presented so it's important that they understand the reason for asking for it and the reasons why they are asked each time.
