Recently, when we click "Update to Yahoo," to update the changes we've made in SM to the order, apparently the software is shifting data into adjacent fields in Yahoo.

For example, on one order viewed in the Yahoo store, the "Name" field is blank but it's contents (from the "Item Description" field in SM) has now been shifted into Yahoo's adjacent "Code" field. The "Code" field's contents, in turn, has been shifted into Yahoo's "Qty" field; the "Qty" field's contents into the "Unit Price" field; etc., etc. For the record, the data is correct in the SM data. So far, we count eleven (11) orders to which this has occurred.

In each case, the orders were modified in some way (placed on HOLD; added an item; marked an item Backordered; changed an address) and the info. "Updated to Yahoo." We have found no case where this occurred except when a modification to an order was effected. Also, all of the occurrences took place on different dates spanning a period going back to at least September 4th through today.

Has anyone else experienced this phenomenon? Is anyone aware if this is an SM or Yahoo software glitch?? Unless our SM software somehow got corrupted (always a possibility, I guess), and since we haven't downloaded any upgrades or patches from SM in a while, it seems to us that this must be a Yahoo-effected problem.

And, of course, last but not least, is there a fix. Thanks to anyone/everyone who can help.  :)

youcancallmeal,

According to our version tracking system you are using version 1.1.7.8.  That was a beta version that did have an issue with the update to yahoo function.  Version 1.2.0.0 has now been released to correct that and other issues.  Try using the "Check for Updates" function in the "Help" menu of SuperManager and let us know if this happens again.

Thanks,
David
