Hi,

Setting up Supermanager on a new machine that will be our sole order processor. Running XP. Supermanager logs in (and can watch this through IE) but cannot retrieve downloaded file (whether IE is open or not). Does not open order screen (or XML). Returns 'Unable to retrieve downloaded file'. Password has been re-entered to be sure...all security software is disabled, including Windows firewall. Works on my Vista machine, albeit with 'navigation return error' often displayed, crashing the supermananger and requiring restart.

Thanks for any help!

sorry, it does pull up the xml file in IE, but cannot download it. if i save the xml, it will import it.

thanks!

Eric,

You may want to try the settings mentioned in this post:

We never heard back from that user, but he said he once he changed these settings it worked.  Please let us know if either of these settings help - and if so, which one(s) were the ones that actually made a difference.

Thanks,
David

Hi David,

Tried them all, none made a difference. Maybe if you could tell me what's happening? Is there perhaps a service that needs to be running that's not? Is there a way to debug, seeing where the failure is really occurring? I suppose it was my plan to re-install XP on the machine to fully clean it up, but I wasn't looking forward to it ;-)

Cheers,
Eric

Eric,

I just sent you an email requesting you to set up a logmein account if you don't already have one and send me (via email) a phone number at which I can reach you and we'll look into this together.

Thanks,
David
