tax line item

Is there any way to have the tax line item not show up when it's a zero value? I know you can just delete it from the add total box, but that gets a bit cumbersome to do for every order. I thought that this used to happen automatically; the orders just wouldn't have the tax show up if no tax was charged.

We changed (extended) our return policy and things have started spilling over by a line or two onto a second page for larger orders, so the one line used for tax does make a difference. Otherwise, it'd be cool if we could put our phone number/email address to the left of the subtotal/shipping/tax/total box, instead of below and to the left, but I don't think my HTML skills are advanced enough.

finnstyle,

Unfortunately Yahoo puts the tax line item in there, not SuperManager.  I think they used to not include it if it was zero, but about a year and a half ago or maybe even more they started adding it for every order.  There may be some way to turn it off in Yahoo, but I'm not sure how it would be done.  I'll let you know if I find something.

Thanks,
David
